As soon as the police received information about the Bangladeshi woman on Thursday, they detained her and registered an FIR under Section 14 of the Foreigners Act. Police and intelligence agencies are now verifying her documents and the method of her illegal entry.
During interrogation, it was found that the woman holds a passport from Dhaka, Bangladesh, but she did not have a valid visa. Her mobile phone has also been seized.
It is worth noting that Rashid had married Shaista sixteen years ago and had travelled to Saudi Arabia for work nearly ten years ago, where he met Reena Begum.
