No religion promotes any activity that creates pollution, said the Supreme Court while questioning the seasonal ban on firecrackers in the national capital when pollution is year-round. The Supreme Court called out Delhi’s selective enforcement of firecracker restrictions, questioning why the Aam Aadmi Party government limits the ban to just October to January when pollution remains a year-round crisis.
