Patra claimed that individuals connected to Rahul Gandhi, who are based in countries such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, Southeast Asia, West Asia, Europe and the United States, are helping shape political narratives against the government. He said that Rahul Gandhi not only criticises India abroad but also relies on foreign-based teams to plan such campaigns.

He referred to Elon Musk’s new X feature that reveals the location and history of an account. According to Patra, the official BJP account shows its location as India, while senior Congress leader Pawan Khera’s account appears to be operated from the US. He added that the Maharashtra Congress account earlier showed Ireland as its base, and the Himachal Pradesh Congress account was linked to Thailand.

Patra further said that Congress used these foreign accounts to spread messages about “vote chor ” and “Operation Sindoor,” claiming many of these accounts are fake and created by the Congress, Left ecosystem to mislead voters and attack India’s image. Patra further said campaigns like “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod” were also run from outside India, which he described as a very concerning matter.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta stressed that freedom of expression does not permit “anything and everything,” suggesting the need for regulation of user-generated content. In Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, an IED blast occurred at around 1:30 PM on Gogunda hill in the Phulbagdi police station area. A female constable of the district police force was seriously injured in the incident, sustaining a leg injury. The explosion took place when the security personnel had gone into the forest for area domination duty.

The injured constable was given immediate first aid and then airlifted by helicopter to Raipur for better treatment. Officials believe that Maoists carried out the blast intending to target the security forces. A comprehensive search operation across the area has been intensified.

Hearing petitions concerning the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision of voter lists, the bench reiterated that Aadhaar cannot confirm citizenship and must be treated only as a supporting document. The court added that the Election Commission has full authority to verify documents submitted for voter registration and is not merely a “post office.”

Opposition’s counsel Kapil Sibal alleged that the SIR process places an unfair burden on ordinary and illiterate voters. To which, the court replied, “Lists are publicly displayed in panchayats and posted on official websites, We do not decide in a vacuum.”

The Supreme Court has directed the Election Commission to submit its responses by December 1, after which the matter will be taken up again.

The move aims to protect the accuracy of the Aadhaar database and prevent misuse of identity documents. UIDAI matched Aadhaar records with official death registrations and data from the Registrar General of India, state governments, and various central ministries before deactivation.

Families can report a relative’s death on the “myAadhaar” portal by submitting the Aadhaar number, death registration details, and basic information. UIDAI verifies the inputs and then proceeds with deactivation. The authority has also outlined a reactivation process for individuals whose Aadhaar may have been wrongly disabled, ensuring corrections can be made with valid proof.

Verma, the state president of the SC/ST officers’ association AJAKS and currently posted in the Agriculture Department, was suspended late Wednesday night for statements the government said undermined social harmony and violated All India Services conduct rules.​

The row began after a video from an AJAKS convention at Bhopal’s Ambedkar Maidan went viral, in which Verma said that reservation benefits should be limited to one member per family. In Haryana’s Nuh district, after the arrest of lawyer Rizwan Khan from the Taoru police station area on charges of spying for Pakistan, his associate advocate Musharraf (also known as Parvez) has now been taken into custody by investigating agencies.

According to media reports, around 1 AM late at night, the police detained Parvez from his residence.

So far, neither the investigating agencies nor the Nuh police have officially confirmed his arrest or release. Parvez’s elder brother serves in the Indian Army. The family has denied all allegations and has demanded a fair and speedy investigation.

Varanasi: Naseem Arrested for Hiding Religion, Trapping Hindu Girl, Repeated Rape and Forcing Conversion

A new case of love jihad has surfaced in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Naseem, a resident of Sitapur, introduced himself as ‘Ajay Kumar’ on Instagram and trapped a Hindu girl, later taking her away with him. After that, the accused pressured the girl to marry him (nikah) and convert to Islam. When she refused, he physically assaulted her.

According to the victim’s family, the girl suddenly went missing on 29 August, after which her mother filed a complaint with the police. The victim stated that Naseem raped her multiple times, due to which she became nearly one and a half months pregnant. Based on the complaint by the girl’s mother, the police immediately arrested Naseem and are now interrogating him.
